In the most interesting match of Group D, USA achieved a vital win against Spain (17-16) and took a direct ticket to the quarter finals in day 3 of the World Women’s Junior Championship in Volos. Spain and USA were spectacular, in a game that USA used the two goalkeepers at the same time, in the last minutes, due to the fact that they didn’t have any players available (all of them have been expelled with 3 fouls).

In a stunning game, Italy beat Canada (11-10), took the first play in Group C and also secured direct ticket to the quarter finals. That was a great game, between two ambitious teams. In the other game of the group Australia beat Nederlands (13-9) and was third.

Canada, who took the second place in Group C will contest Mexico, for a place to the best 8 teams of the competition. Mexico dominated in the game against Ukraine, in Group D, won 11-7 and will fight for participating in the quarter finals.

Nederlands and Ukraine will fight for the places 13-16.
